Since he has spent most of his career at Championship level and recently played in the Cypriot top flight I wouldn't have thought he wasn't exactly on the radar.

Good luck to him indeed! He was there last season as player-coach so isn't totally naive to the goings on there. I hope any new owners give him a fair crack of the whip should they appear...
