Hopefully most of the squad are used to fan's expectation from last season, so will cope and provide a win !!
I reckon we will be too fit and hungry for BW
3-1
3-1
Life is like TUFC. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory.
Looking forward as always to our first game. Not easy to select the starting 11. One thing for sure that we will create chances and Im confident of a victory today.
But i also think that we do have to show some patience.

How exactly have we got the only card of the game so far when they seem to be constantly fouling?
Boreham Wood are a **** disgrace. They will end up with six players on the pitch if the referee grows a pair.

Well, Boreham Wood are certainly a cynical bunch. Fouls flying thick and fast. Duku deliberately taken down on three separate occasions (the first being completely off the ball) by three different Boreham Wood players. Thankfully, the ref spotted the third one and gave a well-deserved straight red.

A toughly fought and well ground out victory to start to the season with some lessons to be learned. As Gary Johnson talked about in the post-match interview, it really is going to be a squad game this season.
Based on what I saw today the only players I’d guarantee in the starting XI on Tues are:
MacDonald
Wynter
Cameron
Little
Evans
Opi
Reid
Everyone else with have to fight for the right to start.
For now I’ll be celebrating a winning start to the season
