I'm sure most fans will remember the last time we played Maidenhead two seasons ago. It was also on a Tuesday evening early in the season. We won 4 - 0 and looked like Real Madrid. Several Forum members were salivating afterwards that we were a great team and certs for promotion ........ until it emerged that the Maidenhead coach had been stuck in traffic on the M4 & M5 (now, there's a surprise!) and their players barely had time to tie their bootlaces before kick off. I think we were 2 - 0 up within 10 minutes. I don't think it will be like that tonight! Oh, and as we all know, we were relegated ....... !

This is the sort of game we need to win if we are to challenge for the play offs - I don't think we'll win the league.
7 points from 4 games would be a reasonable start and would see us in a challenging position. 4 points and we'd already be falling behind - and we won't win ten in a row in this league.
We've already seen that there is a big difference between national league south & premier.

Of course there's a huge chasm between the quality of National premier & National south ( there is also a massive gulf between North & South, we wouldn't have won that league ) .

I believe the massive gulf is called "the Midlands".

Even so, we should thank the fact that we're located where we are geographically, York, Kidderminster spring to mind

If we play like we did on Saturday we should win this comfortably. Bromley's equaliser was a fluke, as was their first.

A resounding win to keep the momentum going...

Team:

MacDonald
Wynter, Cameron, Niate, Hall (C)
Little, Andrews, Vincent, Lemonheigh-Evans
Reid, Kalala

Subs: Lewis, Keating, Duku, Edwards, Covolan.

It's been all us so far - hit the bar, have forced the keeper into a couple of really good saves. Sounds very promising.
