Eastleigh score in stoppage time. 2-3. How frustrating. Sounded like we were the better side for most of the game, also sounded like two odd substitutions?

Poor defending has cost us again.

You could almost guarantee that we would end up losing that. Sounds like their keeper was man of the match. Another game we have blown. Thoroughly depressing.

Agree Brucie.
Think he made four quality saves up until we made it 1-0.
Poor defending out wide.

Its quite ridiculous to say that the players are shit. We still have umpteen players out injured, including our three first choice midfielders.

If you don't think that has any bearing on results you must be thick.

That’s what happens when Covolan timewastes and messes about with it, 5 minutes later he gets lobbed. We didn’t create enough chances and we miss Armani a lot. Why did we take off our best player instead of bringing off Andrews who is to lazy to get back and defend. Shocking performance from every player completely gave it away. The sad thing is in both home games we weren’t the better team, would’ve expected 6 points. Every time we have a chance to get into the playoffs we throw it away.

SURPRISE SURPRISE The TUFC slating GJ and the squad. No doubt the same people who slated Reidy before he came good and won us the NLS. We’ve got key players out injured and we’ve had a mediocre start sitting us mid-table. CHILL OUT you’ll be singing their praises when they start winning. COYY

I think Covolan makes the two CBs nervous. Hes quite erratic.

Andrews just looks unfit. No athleticism whatsoever considering hes a full time pro. Looks like he's running in treacle. Countless times the crosses were coming in when he was facing up to the Eastleigh player.

A lot of huff and puff from Ruairi but just lacks the most important thing...ability.

I think Whitfield was taken off because when that ball was threaded through to Ruairi, Ruairi was onside and shouted at Whitfield, who was offside, to leave it but Whitfield latched on to the ball and had a strike and was rightly flagged offside. Keating was onside and would have been 1 on 1 - probably still would have missed though.

Anyone noticed Hollands' legs. Looked like he had rickets and we still lost that game. Unbelievable.

Feel sorry for the lads as they played some great stuff so just hope this doesn't knock the stuffing out of them too much.

Unfair criticism of Keating

Agree with the above, a rational assessment, contrasting with some of the nonsense above.
We worked hard to create our chances, two good goals. Two individual errors and a slice of luck. That said Payne and Hollands had too much experience for our young central midfielders, Buse and Vincent.

The first half their keeper brought off several saves but ones he should save and everything their players hit went in second half.
There is a time when the injuries catch up with you and against a good organized side you felt that when Andrews pulled up injured again you knew that one chance and they could win.
Eastleigh were a threat every time they attacked every corner was a danger. Our midfield was to lightweight and we did not look organized we seemed to fall apart when they attacked. Asa Hall is sadly missed as nobody protected the back four.
