I was there when Phil Lloyd received a horrible injury at Maidstone. Hopefully Liam's isn't as bad They always seem to beat us and they really have a weird hold over us.

Poor performance but the pitch was a big factor. How can the game be played without tackles.
Liam Davis injury looked serious which would be a big blow. Maidstone’s medical response farcical.
And the ref didn’t know the new rule that player substituted should leave pitch at closest point.
Cold and now wet.
Concentrate on the league now!!!!!

Course the pitch was a factor - wouldn't blame our midfielders though. Unfortunately our "improving" injury situation seems to be back to square one with three quarters of a team now injured again.

Very disappointed to go out, I really felt we would make round three this year and the prize money + gate receipts would've been very welcome. Will have to wait another year!
We didn’t drop him, he insisted on sitting on the stretcher initially and then decided to lay down after we had started moving him. We then lowered the stretcher to the ground and he laid down and we continued to take him to the physio room.

Well.... just got home after a very disappointing afternoon. I think we got what we deserved... we had very little going forward and they seemed much more determined to get to the ball first. We played at times like strangers with some very loose passing. The growing injury list is a cause for concern.

That was embarrassing. Some of the play was absymal. We were outplayed by Maidstone all over the pitch. Time for a few beers and forget this game ever happened.

Covolan - poor, back up keeper at best.
Wynter - needs to step it up, gets beaten for pace.
Cameron - sold.
Cundy - sold.
Davis - very concerned with his injury. Need to see it again, failed to get his foot to the shot, why.
Kalala - poor, lacking in confidence.
Buse - overrun in a midfield of two.
Vincent - overrun in a midfield of two.
Whitfield - our best player, but failed to find his man with crosses.
Janneh - poor, maybe not match fit.
Reid - did nothing.
Lewis - did a good job at left back.
Keating - ran hard, added nothing.
Duku - if not getting on today his days must be numbered.
Summary - totally overrun in midfield, giving us limited ball to play off. When the back four step forward with the ball why does everyone make runs away, looking for the miracle ball. Needed someone to come short and open them up. A poor day, midfield signings urgently needed.

I did exactly the same! Seat F59 level with the centre circle. Great view, but the seats for the yellow army looked terrible, so low down. Just over 300 present behind the goal. Fantastic showing considering the farce of the ticket sales. Now all we've got to do, is lose in the trophy and we will be able to "concentrate on the league"Godalming Gull wrote: ↑09 Nov 2019, 14:53 Sitting with the home supporters to guarantee a seat!

Match viewpoint as there is nothing much to report on the game:
GAME - Depressingly dismal;
PLAYERS; Clueless
SUPPORT: Top Notch
Bit of a shame to go out in such a manner.
