James - until he went off he was the steadying influence in midfield we have been looking for
Evans - ran his socks off but is no front man
Whitfield - tried ever so hard and covered Lewis well
Kalala - briefly looked a possible game changer
No one else

Interesting to hear that about James, I was listening to it on radio Devon and they made it sound like he had an awful game with almost every pass going wayward!

Evans and Whitfield by miles - both never stopped running and trying. Evans end to end sprint back and tackle stopped it being 2-0 before halftime.
Not sure on the rest, Kalala looked good for 20mins after halftime when he came on, but still we couldn’t score.
You could see James trying to make the killer passes but not one actually came off it was a day that even short passes were played behind players. He’s looks the part and clearly has the experience and skill but was poor yesterday.
None of the rest had a clue and actually looked lost when we went behind.
Hopefully two experienced 30+ new centre backs and a new goal keeper are on the way, one of which has the credibility and skill to become the team captain and actually take control on the pitch.

Is this just a wish or do you actually have 'inside' information?
Hopefully your comments are accurate - by God the team needs a lift at the moment.

Connor Evans. Looked back to his best
Ben Whitfield. Continues to impress even in defeat.
Joe Lewis. Very strong and hopefully will go back to centre back when Liam returns.
Ben Wynter. Our most consistent performer.
Disappointed with Lloyd James but I cannot judge a player on one game especially given his experience at a higher level.
