Anyone who suggests that a Torquay player deserves to get a mention was obviously not at the game today.

Absolutely dreadful game!!!
with very little football being played by either team
If Torquay struggle to score against a team that are 10 points from safety
that also let goals in for fun
Gawd HELP us!!!!!!

I thought our back line looked much more comfortable today. A few weeks ago we would have lost this game and been bullied by Ebbsfleet. I thought Lewis and Warren did their job especially well.

Warren, we would have lost this a couple of weeks ago
The left back, name escapes me, wasn't really paying attention.

Gary Warren. my MOTM
Asa Hall. Wins a lot of headers by great timing of his jump.
Jamie Reid. Upper body strength impressive. Inexplicable 4-1-4-1 formation denies him any support!!
Jackson Longridge. First impressions are very good. Solid game.
Joe Lewis. Strong, committed and comfortable at right back.

As many have said a truly awful game.

Warren - My man of the match, not only for his play, but also his coaching / leading the back four.
Lewis - Strong and playing out of position and helping the cause. Must remember not every ball is winnable, sit in at times.
Longridge - Used the space in front of him well and not scared to shout and demand more of others.
Hall - Does not have the box to box legs any more, but cleared up in front of the back four.

Cross Bar Challenge Guy - Now this was the highlight of the day and helped make the 400 mile round trip worth it. Successful with his first two attempts and milked the crowd and occasion big time and why not. Great fun, well played fella.
