Apparently? Hopefully Bristol City and back on loan until the end of the season.

Adam Marriott at Kings Lynn looks like he knows where the goal is plus is an experienced player too. Not sure if league clubs are looking at him or whether he'd want a move to Torquay

And Aldershot and Koue Niate kept a clean sheet.

I remember Tyler Harvey scoring a 90th minute winner for Argyle on Boxing Day 2015? at Home Park against United coming on as a sub.
If Reidy is off to a Championship Club this week we need someone. Lewington and Harvey. They know one another well from last season at Truro.

Lets hope that's a wind up as we will end up with Harvey and Lewington up front against Barrow.

What a night Keating comes on as sub and scores within five minutes. Morton comes on as sub for Northampton and within five minutes wins a penalty with his pace. Niate shuts out Rendell and co as Aldershot get a clean sheet at Eastleigh.

Lets hope Manny DukLewington can similarly influence our game on Saturday. Apparently hes been sidetracked since joining us trying to find out where the goal is.

The fact that Harvey and Lewington know each other looks like the ultimate straw clutch to me. The quality (or lack of it) of our signings look like we are going backwards. :@ :@ :@

It would seem Reid is joining Reading, heard he said he goodbyes today and travelled up today and is set to have his medical tomorrow morning. We’re set to sign a Asante from
Chester as his replacement. He waved bye to the fans today.

Do you know if Johnson has a plan Z?
I trust any plans he has. Hardly his fault if his impending signing impresses everyone in a friendly and gets snapped up by a decent league club after agreeing terms and set to sign. Can't blame the player either, he's ambitious and would have been a great acquisition. With Uncle Clarke about to fill his wallet with the Reid cash I can't think of anyone else I'd rather oversee the transition than Sir Gary.

Got any bright ideas?
Dave

Southampton Gull. When Gary Johnson first spoke to uncle Clarke, he said that he was impressed with his plans for the ambitions Osbourne had for the club and signed within 48 hours of meeting Uncle Clarke. Johnson knew the budget he had when he signed last season and after last season he obviously sat down with Osbourne/Edwards in the summer where the budget was agreed. This season, well we all know that for whatever reason we have struggled after a great start. The loan signings that Johnson has made when our injury crisis began, well the players have not been good enough for this league. Added to this, the manager signed Manny Duku, a player he had reportedly been after since he became manager and has since let go, as too Ruari Keating. Why Johnson signed Olaf Koszela as a pro whose job is to fulfill one of the five subs seats and not even play him is strange.

We must also not forget that a handful of teams in this league are not even full time. We can only hope that the manager has players lined up to replace the ones that have left, as to let players go before you have replacements signed up that are better is poor management. Time will tell.

The difficulty we have Dawlishmatt is we really dont know what goes on. We hear bits and pieces however we really dont know. So its difficult to criticize the manager or the owners regarding players coming or going because we have no idea. I dont know exactly what goes on when signing a player on a contract or on a loan. It cant be easy and Im sure GJ has lost many players in the last few months who he had penciled in.

so Johnson finally comes out and says we missed out on a forward blaming it on "mad January"

clearly desperate because there is no back up plan... almost a week since he promised this forward and in this time we have released to squad players.

whoever made up these Reid rumours how concrete are these because we are going to be in a relegation battle soon and with Barrow coming up there is only one outcome from that game....

We're 8 points above the drop zone, only 5 off the play-offs. Next up we have Barrow, a team who haven't lost a league game since we beat them three months ago on 26th October, would you like to make a gentleman's wager that we'll beat them again? We ourselves haven't lost a league game since the 1st of this month.
