Earlier on Southampton mentioned that maybe Gary Johnson wasn't being backed with as much money as some seem to think. I think this is likely to be the case as evidenced by the fact we have a very young inexperienced team; experienced tried and tested pros cost money and I don't think Johnson has access to it. Last season when we did well there was an assumption among some supporters that it must have been because Uncle Clarke pumped money in (another example of Sky's brainwashing that only money brings success). If that was the case why didn't he give adequate funding to Nicholson and Owers?
As for the loanees; players available for loan are only available because their parent clubs do not have any current use for them, therefore they are not exactly going to set the world on fire. Obviously there are some exceptions to that such as Jermaine DeFoe when he was at Bournemouth, but that is an exception to the rule.

Good idea but there would have to be stringent controls in place like Trump has with the nuclear button ;-)

If we do not beat Fylde and Ebbsfleet does he have to go?
AFC Fylde 2 Torquay 3. Now perhaps this ridiculous thread will come to an end.

Just coincidence..maybe, but the first time for months we play 4 at the back and put square pegs in square holes, we get a result.
As I say, just coincidence....NOT.

3 at the back again.....and we lose.

Is there a common theme here?

Not this bloody thread again - please put it out of its misery someone. Gary Johnson is not going anywhere and for the umpteenth time, who else would we get that's any better? Perhaps the moaners (of whom there are quite a few on here) would like Nicho back so that we can have another 'Great Escape'.

The way we are sliding down the table. We might still require a nicho type great escape.
