Just spoke to an Exeter fan and according to him Exeter see Gary Warren very much in their plans being part of a preferred back 3 they use. Apparently he's a no nonsense effective defender with experience. Unfortunately for him he's had his injuries and is currently needing games.

Just been recalled by Exeter City. This in my view is a big blow.

Just when we were starting to look a little more settled at the back!!
we desperately need to sign a experienced C/H, we can't rely on loans, with Cundy out injured it only leaves Cameron and Lewis, unless he puts Hall into the back line.

I agree that his recall is a big loss especially at this crucial part of the season, his maturity and experience have certainly settled the back three/four/five depending on Johnsons mood. What has been blindingly obvious is that Cundy and Cameron are not in the same class as Warren and probably never will be.
Jesus give the kids a chance, Warren has at least 12 years on Cameron & Cundy and a wealth of experience.

Cameron is the wrong side of 25, he is not a boy, with his pedigree he should be playing at a higher level , but he is not and there is a very good reason for that, as for Cundy one week he can have a blinder next week a shocker, each week they have to put in the performance or else as we have seen in recent weeks they will be side-lined and only brought back because there is no alternative.
Cameron has only recently turned 23! Not a kid sure, but I would say in terms of a developing footballer thats very much the right side of 25!culmstockgull wrote: ↑11 Feb 2020, 16:01 Cameron is the wrong side of 25, he is not a boy, with his pedigree he should be playing at a higher level , but he is not and there is a very good reason for that, as for Cundy one week he can have a blinder next week a shocker, each week they have to put in the performance or else as we have seen in recent weeks they will be side-lined and only brought back because there is no alternative.

Need Wynter back as soon as possible, then we can play Lewis CB
Warren doesn't even make the 7 on the bench tonight ! Do they really need him ?
