Just seen the goal on BT Sport, definite penalty despite what the commentator said.

Even first hialf overall with the conditions favouring Sholing but we created more chances towards half time with a deserved penalty after a trip in the box.

Asa Hall is enjoying himself and playing with great authority. Sets us up nicely for the second half.

BT commentator thinks it should be 1 - 2. He got the pen wrong and now this - he must be a home fan.

BT end with a farcical attempt at an interview with GJ who is socially distancing from the commentator. He gets an intro, commentator turns to GJ and doesn't give him the mike so GJ ends up talking into the wind and rain. They cut back to the studio and the rest of them are falling about laughing.

Southampton Gull. Thanks for the updates of today's match. I never listen to radio commentary as it's usually crap and so when I am not at a game that's not covered by the media ( F. A. Cup qualifying and F. A. Trophy games) , I have to rely on twitter. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Sorry guys, I had to give up as the rain was interfering with everything I was typing. Smart phones and rain......

Overall a good professional performance and a deserved result. Sholing were exactly what I knew they'd be, a good test.

Little looked composed when he came on which was a bonus. I got a great photo of Gary Johnson who looked very nervous when he saw a few Torquay fans until I explained we were all locals.

Fair play to Sholing, very hospitable club and a good side that should do well in their league. Pluses for me today were the class of Hall, Cameron, CLE, Whitfield and Evans along with a quality finish from Umerah. Add Little to the mix and things are looking good.

A game we would have probably have lost pre-Johnson. You’re never going to beat these teams 10-0. A much welcomed £9,375 to the club. Hopefully we get Skelmersdale away in 1st round and I can be the local person in the crowd.

So glad in a way we didn't stuff them 10-0, the reason being we need to be kept on our toes in ALL games a saunter in the park is fine if your Barcelona but complacency is always around the corner in my experience of watching TUFC for the past 40+ years.
I totally agree, pre GJ, this so could of been a role reversal in the scoreline - just proves how we have come on leaps & bounds since those dark days.
