National League - King's Lynn Town v Torquay United - Sat 12 Dec 2020 - 3.00pm KO
Our good run was always going to come to an end sometime. Sounds like an awful game on a dodgy pitch, with a dubious red card so could be a good away point in the end. Especially if we win on Tuesday
Reality check - outplayed by Kings Lynn
Second to every ball . Not the perfotmance of a team looking to win the league .

A point is better than no points, but that has to be the least competent full game performance we have put together all season.
I appreciate the conditions were tricky and the pitch was poor...but that was the same for both sides. We seemed to lack invention and slow to the second ball all over the field, with too many loose passes. Although we had a few good chances, I think we were fortunate that our defence was playing a solid game.
On reflection, given my above comments it does bode well that we mange not to lose a game like that.

Not the best of games.... sure there are a few that enjoyed that from their comfy armchairs - I certainly didn't
A point on the road is normally a good return, but we looked void of ideas... yes, the crap pitch/weather didn't help. The KL commentators saying it was a 'fantastic' match really must have been watching some awful football this season.
One to forget.

Can anyone tell me when Asa Hall has ever been anything other than professional let alone aggressive.
Homer ref, below par performance (not poor) is my match summary.

Win on Tuesday, all forgotten. We were never going to go and win every game. We didn’t lose, a point away from home.possibly a dubious red card. At least Asa can now have a rest and come back refreshed. I have every confidence that this team can go on another winning run.

Not so, my cup is half full at the moment and our good run continues!
We are now six points and a superior goal difference ahead of Sutton (Yes, Stockport could theoretically much reduce the gap but they are up against serious fixture congestion and I know where I'd rather be).
Fair enough but was a poor pitch and conditions and KL raised their game massively but we simply didn't play or show any threat at all , don't think Gary will be happy

Testament to where have come, Scrappy 0-0 away from home. We would have most certainly lost this game in the last few seasons.
And a clean sheet.
We are still on a great run as always the games come thick and fast and on to Tues
A nice 11 point gap between us and third place.
Can we start believing???
