National League Weymouth v Torquay United 28/12/20 3pm KO
one real lapse in concentration and we have been punished, could have had a couple more, get an early 3rd and Weymouth will have to open up
LHE has been one of our leading players this year, certainly has potential to play higher, is now the right time? - no!

Well, one lapse and we let Weymouth back into what was looking like another one-sided match. They scored from their only attempt on goal. We have had 4 corners to their one, 11 attempts to their one and 7 on target to their one. Despite our dominance going forward we do look shaky in defence, especially down the right where Sherring looks quite exposed. CLE is by some margin the best player on the park and much will depend on whether he can keep his energy levels up in the second half playing against what looks like a stiff wind.

He's a cut above the current level we are playing at - all over the pitch and not short of quality. I'd hope we can keep him as he seems very settled, playing a great role and the team is flying and full of confidence.LedburyShrew wrote: ↑28 Dec 2020, 15:40 Shrewsbury Town fan here in peace - Sorry to interrupt your match day thread but there is a rumour emerging in Shropshire that Connor Lemonheigh-Evans is being linked to a move to us, his time at Bristol city under Steve Cotterill being the obvious link
Thoughts?

Awful defending in the build up to Weymouth’s goal but McDonald made a lash up of the cross. Hope we come out attacking in the second half. PS where is Waters?!
Went to the fridge for a beer and got back just in time to see the ball roll in the net for 2-0

3-1 Another Whitfield run, crossed low and Nemane slots home! about 1 minute into the 2nd half!
Didn't miss that one! 3-1!

3-2 - McDonald might as well not be in goal today, very poor

The defence has been sloppy but I agree McDonald is having a woeful time. Covolan will likely be back in for Yeovil after this displayTUST_Member_Rob wrote: ↑28 Dec 2020, 16:07 3-2 - McDonald might as well not be in goal today, very poor
We work so hard going forward and score great goals, such a disappointment that we let in soft goals
Need to get further ahead to compensate for MacDonut's errors
