19 years old - maybe their is room for debate, after all, on where Olaf fits into the grand scheme of things
Classic nothing announced by the club

This signing must bring huge eye brows to the Olaf fans. Same age, if not younger....
We are trying to get promotion so I guess we need something better than Olaf at the moment.
I would presume this young striker who after all is inexperienced, must come quite highly rated I guess. The likes of Opi Edwards, Evans and Andrews were all playing under 23 football and all look well above Olafs level.
As for carping about the club not havn't releasing anything. whats "classic" about that. Perhaps the deal hasn't been done yet. Perhaps we don't want to announce it yet. Perhaps its just conjecture.
Hardly anything to give the club stick about.

It should be clear by now, GJ does not readily release information about signings or injuries. It's his perogative.
TUST number 080
Spot on Brucie , those were my first thoughts, GJ will not announce anything until the ink is dry on a permanent or loan contract, the fact there's been no announcement would suggest there's been no signing.
As for Olaf Koszela, with the greatest respect meant but he's a young lad who's scored goals in the the junior premier league, hardly stacks up against a young player scoring for Palace U23's.

The trouble with Olaf too is we dont play in any reserve league or U23 league that everyone else has so they are getting regular games. Olaf obviously trains with us even when on loan at Dorchester.
Hopefully Steeet will get plenty of game time.

I hope we do sign him or someone similar, considering that it is now two days since his arrival was first foretold I do worry whether there is too much to do on the deal. Additionally if the article attributed to Johnson by the local paper is true and Wright needs surgery then his season and probably considering his age his career is over, certainly at Torquay anyway.

Info on Street taken from the Crystal Palace website.
Biography
DATE OF BIRTH

COUNTRY
England
Street followed the lead of fellow young hotshot and former Palace forward James Daly by progressing through the Under-18s to sample Development football in recent terms and has enjoyed further appearances for them over the last three seasons.
The talented frontman was rewarded for his efforts with a professional contract in summer 2020.
Season Apps Subbed on Goals
20/21 6 2 3
19/20 (U18) 5 N/A 6
19/20 17 8 7
18/19 11 N/A 5
17/18 13 N/A 3
17/18 (U23) 4 N/A 1
Statistics correct as of October 19th, 2020.
"Finally, Street is perhaps the most regular of the young prospects to play with the Under-23s and the forward has netted seven times for Shaun Derry’s charges this season. A traditional centre-forward, Street thrives when playing alone up-top and has a shrewd eye for goal.”
That last bit suggests he should fit into the role well providing he can adapt to regular National League football.
