The league is still very competitive for play off places. With games in hand all the way down to Yeovil in 19th are in with a shout of making the playoffs.
Stockport, Hartlepool and Sutton believe they can challenge us for the title. With less games each week being postponed due to Covid we could be in with a chance of finishing the season?
I guess it’s inevitable that north and south will be stopped.
Maybe I am being overly optimistic or hopeful but I think it’s possible

Didn't I read that clubs have 28 days to respond ? Presuming that is correct then that is good news as the situation will almost certainly have changed by the beginning of March and who knows, loans might become grants by then ! Not that this government would ever have to change its mind of course.

Perhaps with some pressure we may get grants.
If all games are played we will be close to 66%games played which I think we need for PPG to come into play.

If I understand this right the NL and NS have four votes each in the decision to void all the leagues, the NL has 23 votes ,one per club, we need 75% to keep going, take out the relegation three in our league who will undoubtedly vote for their own safety, add on a couple of clubs near the bottom but not in the relegation zone plus Wrexham who have already said they will abstain and even if my assumptions are wrong and you just need a 50% majority to void then we are struggling to get the necessary votes.

It sounds as if predictions would suggest that the league will continue with the majority of clubs voting to carry on.
Good news.
Good news.

So the results are in! The National League is to continue to the end of the season but the two subsidiary leagues are null and void.

Interestingly, no games this weekend have been cancelled due to covid.
Tough for those in the NLS.

It makes Dover very thankful that there will be no relegation. They can play a pub team with no consequences.
