I suppose a draw stops the rot .......for now
We do seem to have lost our earlier season's ability to pass effectively.

Following the Johnson mantra that we must not get miserable, its only a game, what does he know, a draw on our present form must be considered a good result, yes ,we missed a penalty and they had several off the crossbar , but the bottom line is was we were toothless up front and yet another game no one wishing to have a pop from outside the area, the training regime obviously says pass it into the net or not at all. We were down to bare bones again tonight and the quality of the subs brings very little if anything as a threat..

Yep lucky to get that point.
We are just not creating the chances and when we do we rush them. Besides the penalty miss the only composed shot was the CLE shot. That ain’t gonna win is the title.

Oh b*******, Asa Hall missing that penalty cost me £ 2,315. I did a bet on Torquay, Notts County, Sutton and Hartlepool to win 1-0. I did 4 x £ 10 singles, 6 x £5 Doubles, 4 x £ 5 Trebles and a £ 5 accumulator. At least i got £ 385 back for my 95 quid.
Away point to BW is as good as it get at the moment.
Plenty more ups and downs left in the season.

It's gutting but look at the team. The spine is out and despite having so many players signed in reality we are only a force when at full strength. Look at their team. On paper they are a much stronger than we are - even at full strength- let alone now. We have had a number of their players ourselves and they were lured away by the bright lights of London.
Sorry Gary but I'm miserable again. A reasonable first half but second half was dismal , yet again we failed to make their fat keeper make a save apart from another piss poor penalty from Hall. HIT THE PENALTY 5-6 FEET HIGH - the keeper doesn't dive upwards. Virgo on comm mentioned the players we were missing but never mentioned Nemane who is the biggest miss. Randell is not the same player if he isn't centre mid. Thought Sherring and Lewis were the only players to play well.

Also f*cked off with some people.
We have players missing and it does make a difference.
Whits and the Lemon are trying to do everything in the middle and final third.
Its gutting that we cant win at the moment.
However, as I have said previously, no-one really - and honestly - expected us to be top for so long with a chance of winning the league.
Most, if not all - would have been delighted with a play-off place when the season kicked-off.

At least you can't blame Hall completely as Hartlepool failed to win as well. That said it was a terrible penalty - the keeper had committed to diving to his right when Hall was four steps from the ball. All he had to do was roll it into the other call, but for some reason went the direction that the keeper was diving.
Squad still looks weak but not helped by our loanees Sheaf and Street who contribute nothing, when we need a full back. I'n mot sure Boden looks any better either. Not big enough, or quick enough to do any damage and looks like he's blowing out of his arse after 20 minutes.
Suttons winner today was scored by a player they have on loan from Bath City - he has scored 6 goals in 9 games for Bath this season. Our recruitment of loan signings looks poor in comparison.

Couldnt listen today due to work but ive seen the penalty and its a poor effort, hopefully Hall is removed from spot kick duties now after missing 2 in a row
i think if we can win on Tuesday its a good point earned today

No goals yet again says it all, lots of effort but no real threat or even attempts. And a dreadful penalty, stocky right-handed keeper so AH put it halfway to the corner and at waist height...! But at least a clean sheet (just) against some lively attackers.
So how does one coach ruthlessness????

Momentum definitely with Sutton and Wrexham.

Not a bad point on reflection. Their frontmen were a complete handful and our defence deserves credit for keeping them at bay. With their strikers we would have won today, simple. They are strong, athletic and get their shots away.
I am not sure I understand the thinking behind bringing on Buse, looked a long way off the pace, was Andrews injured.
