nobody expects Woking to catch Sutton off guard today. We all have a tiny amount of hope, but we're idiots if we actually expect it (especially on the 3G).
Sutton have a couple of tough games yet to come, though, particularly at Maidenhead on Saturday, who still have a long-shot chance of the playoffs and are coming of the back a decent result against Hartlepool. They do play Notts County tonight, so that play-off hope might be dimmed by the weekend.
if Sutton do drop points in either of their next two games, that somehow contrives to make our game with Stockport an even bigger, winner-probably-takes-all sort of thing.

I hadn't noticed that with Hartlepool dropping points we only need two, or possibly three points to secure at least third spot and a home semi final in the play offs.
Obviously very much second best to automatic promotion but a couple of weeks ago it looked as if we could even miss out on top three.

Woking are...playing quite well.
and have equalised, 1-1.
I don't know anything any more.

Total respect to Woking for the energy and commitment here - they are busting a gut!
If things stay as they are with respect to Stockport, then a win on Sunday means it’s a two horse race. Even a draw would mean we’d have to lose both games realistically.
I think we should be prepared for a different second half and a tired Woking to perhaps fall away. Fair play for the effort though.
Stockport finish 1-1 great result.
Still think regardless of tonight Sutton will drop points at either Maidenhead or Hartlepool, more than likely both.

Agree that Woking are unlikely to be able to keep this up for another 45 - but the bodies on the line approach is appreciated! Second half could be absolutely brutal.
Nail biting stuff.
