kingsgull83 I wanted my dream scenario to be realistic and Stockport are very hard to beat at Edgeley Park just 2 defeats in 19 games.
Very good news Maidenhead have signed an emergency keeper. Lets hope he plays a blinder on Saturday and Sutton get beat. Maidenhead beat us 4-1 so I fancy them to win.

But they've drawn more - 9 - than they've won - 8.........portugull wrote: ↑13 May 2021, 16:24 kingsgull83 I wanted my dream scenario to be realistic and Stockport are very hard to beat at Edgeley Park just 2 defeats in 19 games.

And D&R should have beat them the other night......

Hate to rain on your parade but perhaps a reality check is needed.
From Maidenheads line up that beat us 4-1 they will be missing 5/6 players tomorrow due to injuries and suspensions

They've got an untried 19 year old keeper in goal which isn't great for starters. That's a key position and having both their regular keepers out isn't good news.
They've got Shekleford and Upward both suspended. Blissetts out for the season, and Sam Barratt who has been doing well lately didn't play against Notts County.
Not sure how they lined up against Hartlepool but I guess the two suspended players played.
It appears that Whitfield and Cameron may return at Stockport.

I see the playoff final will be at Ashton Gate. In the event that we end up there, that's not a bad trip. Very sensible location given that the most likely finalists are the teams who will play this Sunday.
Shame uefa can't be as sensible when picking their venues for finals.

Sunday 6th June 2021 – 4pm – Elimination Round – Match B – 4th place vs 7th Place

brucie I just checked the Maidenhead Team compared to last Sat when they beat Hartlepool.
Of the 10 outfield players 3 are missing. Sheckleford suspended, Wiltshire injured or dropped but replaced by Upward and Barrett a huge miss from our point of view.
Fingers crossed but Alan Devonshire will set up his team to give Sutton a real test.

Yes duff gen upward isn't suspended, but I'm worried about the inexperienced keeper.

To cheer you up brucie James Holden is the First choice Reading Under 23's Keeper and played brilliantly on May 10th against Wolves Under 23's.
Lets hope he plays a blinder!

Sounds like he's made a couple of good saves so far.

Sutton on top but still 0.0.
The last 30 minutes will go a long way to deciding whether we win the league.
