Now 3 -0 Sutton ......looking more and more like play offs for us.
And Hartlepool won so Stockport need to win tomorrow to try and keep top 3, promises to be quite a game!

Finished 3 - 0 to Sutton, that's helped their goal difference as well.
Well its no surprise though is it.
Maidenhead have drawn to Kings Lynn and got beaten at home by Weymouth in their last five games. Probably were never going to win with an understrength side. Look at Suttons line up today - they are the only team anywhere near the top who have put out on their full strength team today.
They had had some incredible luck on avoiding injuries and that is the main reason why they are top. Hartlepool stuttered but had their full strength side out today and won. I'd certainly give them a chance of getting a result at Sutton if they weren't playing on an ice hockey rink.
Takes the pressure off us somewhat though - we can go out and play tomorrow, it isn't the pressure game it could have been.
We can probably secure a top three finish with a win against Barnet, even if we lose tomorrow.

I wouldn't mind if was just today but it's been all season. They just haven't been dealt the same hand that everyone else has hand to cope with. I am far from convinced they are actually the best team in this divisIon but people will say the league table doesn't lie.

Unfortunately a Sutton victory was always likely today
It's all about tomorrow
Win and the pressure swings back to Sutton v Hartlepool
Draw and we rely on a Hartlepool win and big GD swing
Lose and it's the play offs
COYY!!

Well the lads just have to win the last 3 games 86 points and hope Sutton get held to a draw by the Pool win their last game and get to 85 points.
Huge game tomorrow.
Huge game tomorrow.
What do you mean?. All teams have suffered with Covid and no crowds, played the same amount of games, the same teams and had injuries. Some have not had the budget to sign replacements and have had to put players on furlough to survive. Are Sutton a team that has bought success or the only team in the league to have a 3G pitch?Dazza wrote: ↑15 May 2021, 17:12 I wouldn't mind if was just today but it's been all season. Luck doesn't come into it - It's the advantage of playing on an Axminster carpet with a top quality underlay. That's why we can have a small squad and our oldest player still turns out at 40. Oppo fans complain, oppo managers complain, but oppo players don't. That's because most of them train on it.

Just hope we can scrape through via the playoffs! Horrible feeling we’re going to get mullered tomorrow with a repeat in the final?!! Can only pray for a miracle!

All well and good but Sutton haven’t had three points took off them like other teams, wasn’t our fault Dover’s results were expunged, so therefore it’s not the same for every team?

If you think that opposition players don't complain about your pitch you are living on fantasy island.
Your pitch is a **** disgrace. Its a low grade surface made worse because its used so much.
Talk about delluded - describing your pitch as top quality is quite the funniest thing I have read this season. Its in such a poor state because its constantly overused.
