Nice Touch.....
Theres every prospect we won't get past Notts County and/or Stockport or Hartlepool.
Its football and a fact of life. I'm a realist and it may be that we might come up short. However I'm not going to berating anybody if that happens.
Just wouldn't bother responding to this pathetic horses arse.

I don't recall many - if any - saying we'd finish 2nd and reach the play-offs.
Especially playing half the season without several key players.

Certainly not YOU !
Where exactly have I said I dont want us to win ?
I do, I really do, but we are an injury ravaged squad who aren't playing to the standards we set early season, too reliable on Wright, Whitfield etc, the back up we have ( apart from Boden maybe) is, at best, hit & miss & the failure to put teams like Barnet to bed after leading 2-0 is a season long trait that this squad of ours has as its weakest point.
We cannot defend a lead we always concede stupid self inflicted goals which in turn piles the pressure back on ourselves leading to poor game management
If you watch GJ at times like these , the poor old bugger is tearing out what ever hair he has left on his head & after match interviews are by & large on the subject of game management & players affecting the game in the eight way.
So once again I really hope we can prevail in this playoff campaign but I have my reservations

I couldn’t be at the match today so I have been intrigued at the ‘clappers’ initiative. What a great idea given the need to continue face coverings. This, the scarves for season ticket holders and the flags at the end of our last promotion campaign show a really innovative approach by the Club management. Gary was really appreciative in his post-match interview and implied that his contract renewal was also incredibly helpful. Well done to the Club and owners - there has been a lot of suspicion about motives over the last few years but I for one am grateful for the commitment given to the playing department and the chance to get back to the promised land!
