MOTM - Altrincham
This feature will continue for a 12th season - the same format as the previous eleven - up to five players nominated per poster, in order. Each match totals are added up, so each match counts for 1/44th of the overall season and all matches count the same, regardless of where it fell in the season or how memorable the match was.
A disappointing start to the season today, but 1/44th of potential points were up for grabs today, and results today will count for the same percentage of the Player of the Year result.
Reviewing last season, Adam Randell was the overall winner of the player of the Year award. It went to the final day, but he held off a close challenge from Connor Lemonheigh-Evans to win by 130 points to 124. Connor won the official POTY award with traditional paper voting format - only the second time in which this has differed from the official award - the other occasion was in 2015/16 when Dan Butler beat Nathan Smith by 137 points to 135, but Nathan won the official award.

Lewis - combative throughout and not at fault for the goals
Holman - was energetic and skilful with little support
Halstead - one excellent save
No one else really deserves a mention

Moxey (based on first half, unless he was different second half. I was on opposite corner of the ground so can't be too sure about stuff he did 2nd half)
Asa's introduction gave us more aerial and physical presence which until then had been only Wright beyond the back four, but Wright was having to take on the biggest defenders.

Thought 1st half Rogers played very well but seemed to disappear in the 2nd but promising.
