Agree with the above. I think occasionally Branstons played some decent balls! As others have said he has his faults but generally he's excellent at what he's does.
I would echo the comments that he brings more to the team (and the club) than what he does with his head and feet. He is committed, a leader, and by all accounts a nice guy, which gives the club a nicer image.
On the pitch, he isn't great in possession (though improving in my opinion), but his job should not be to play the ball out of defence. His number one job is stopping the opposition scoring and getting the ball away from our goal, which he does very well, and is a vital role in our team.
If Arsenal had a Guy Branston they'd have won the league!
I don't watch a lot of Torquay games due to the fact I have football myself saturdays & work late weeknights, aswell as living 80miles away from Plainmoor - but the 6 or 7 games I have seen Branston has been outstanding.
Despite the comical slip-ups from time to time he always makes up for it with commanding displays from the back & I hope he gets signed up ASAP. Can't believe reading some of the Burton comments about him when he first signed for us though!

When people mention "Hilly", I remember "Twitch", who after long service with TUFC earned himself a testimonial match.
