I’m sorry but that to me just papers over the cracks, we are too weak in midfield and too one dimensional in attack. However this result will help with confidence going forward.

How we got anything out of that game I am not sure, especially as Mcdonald had one of his not unusual meltdown moments, but there is no doubting the character of the squad. Talking about character , I now know how we got hold of chiori johnson so easily, has a good work ethic and not a little quality however he has a major temperament issue, not sure how de didnt get sent off again tonight. My underlying feeling from watching the game was that Torquay just do not have the quality to do anything other than survive this season, the names have already been mentioned by other contributors but we are certainy a minimum of four short of a strong starting eleven.

How bloody brilliant is that!!!

Away to the League leaders, 2 nil down to a team that has conceded just 4 goals in 7 games before tonight and Armani scores in 88th min and Tom Lapslie scores in 96th minute to nick a point.

Well done the lads. Never ever give up in Football you never know until the final whistle blows.

Funnily enough three of us spoke to Tom Lapslie last Sat as we left Plainmoor and he said he would be fit for Chesterfield. I bet he did not expect to score in the 96th minute!
