Complete and utter tosh!
Of course Little felt it was aimed at him because it quite clearly was and it’s the reaction of a pathetic bunch of so called supporters

Agree with you there DB57. I was there and it was absolutely directed at AL. MOTM is a daft, arbitrary award anyway with very little benefit and has the potential, much like in this case, to be divisive.

Having watched the "highlights", AL was clearly peeved by the reaction of the fans and reacted. His 2 goal performance stuffed some humble pie back down the throats of his critics. He has to rise above this sort of thing and use the energy as motivation to perform even better. Imagine the abuse he would get at somewhere like Leeds for not being 100%, 100% of the time. He has to learn to handle the heat and turn it to his advantage, like Jamie Reid did. He also needs to remember that the vast majority of the fans are completely on his side and want him to shine. Yes, some behave like terrace tw@ts, but that's football. If you can't handle the knockers (Benny Hill moment) he requires learning too, fast.

Spot on, Dave. Hope he does just that.

Jamie Reid was from Torquay though and so maybe had more patience with the process, and fewer options to move onwards. AL is not from South West, may feel unwanted and have offers from elsewhere.

Yes for sure AL was getting abuse and booing from 15 minutes into the game, with hes goals and assist can see clubs coming in for him and wouldn't blame him for going !!!!

Not an easy chance to take and superb technique to volley that in.
Glad it fell to Little , several other players would have cleared the bar with that.
Hope he realises it's small minority who are having a go at him .

Minorities tend to be small don’t they?
You’re right though , you wouldn’t bet on any other player hitting the target let alone score.

A large minority is clearly bigger than a small minority.
