Barnet away 20.11.21

Post by standupsitdown »

No thread for this game - it's only a day away.

It looks as if we've sold about 275 tickets so far.
Having paid £22 for mine a couple of weeks ago they are now selling for £10.

This is the sort of game we need to be winning if we're to make the play offs (currently we're 8 points from relegation and 8 points from play offs).

Heading up tomorrow morning. Martin, Armstrong, Evans all available so a stronger looking squad. Hopefully a better performance than my last away day at Bromley where we were dire!! Should be a good turn out from the yellow army!! Hopeful but not confident is the best way to describe how I feel!!!

Tickets selling fast at only £10, let's get behind Gary and the boys. I get the feeling four points are needed from today and Aldershot on Tuesday. Anything less and a top seven finish will sadly look further away. COYY 💛

Yep if we get 4 points out of the next 6 we’re back on track. 2-3 suggests midtable season. 0-1 & perhaps start to worry about exiting the league the wrong way..

Good luck to the boys today, having Armstrong back will help us immensely i believe.

We’re 8 points off relegation currently. If we get 1 point in the next 2 games that’ll probably be down to 3/4. That to me is way too close for comfort.

Sorry if that’s ‘wet’ for you but now is the time for us to kick on if we have serious aspirations of a top 7 finish

Mid table finish - we have no chance of making the top seven but won't be relegated either.

After watching Stockports FA cup replay I would say that we realistically have no chance of competing with the top teams. Their budgets are light years away from ours and it shows.

A team that constantly has Holman as a first choice striker isn't going to feature in any promotion shake up.

Are you saying that he is on paternity leave. If so, it would be nice to be informed, and for how long?
