Dawlish is taking his time. Teigngull will probably pipe up too.

How crazy is that!!
We beat Stockport 2-1 and then lose to a team who before today had won just 3 games at home all season.
I hope and pray Shaun MacDonald does not get injured because if he does we are in real trouble.

After a fantastic performance last week against a top big spending side, we revert back to losing to lower league opposition.
What a joke. I would not have Halstead in my under 12 side, let alone in the Mighty Yellows goal. Sounds like he did not come for the first and chucked the second in for their winner.

Torquay's result the only shock of the day in the Trophy - how typical is that?

That was as bad as it gets. Outplayed by a team who are struggling in the league below us and getting kids in to get a full squad out. Something needs to change.

Evening SG. You better sit down before you read my comment. I think that Gary Johnson got the team selection spot on today. Having Halstead in goal, well he had to give him a game and resting several others was a wise decision in my opinion. Even giving Danny Wright an hour was also a smart move. I personally don't give a rats behind about the micky mouse cup, we need to firstly get through a tough Christmas period and pull well clear of the relegation zone and who knows where we will be in the table come the end of January, covid permitting of course.Southampton Gull wrote: ↑18 Dec 2021, 16:55 Dawlish is taking his time. Well that's got to be our worst and most embarrassing defeat in our history hasn't it?
Losing to a team 4th from bottom of National League South , who have won 3 of 16 games and 1 of 9 home games all season. My contact at the game said it was an extremely poor and disappointing second half. Come on Gary get to the bottom of this , it's got to be an attitude/mentality/ lack of personal ambition / drive
problem if they can't compete and raise their game to overcome Tonbridge bloody Angels.
Not once but 3 times this season we've been outfought and been 2nd best to Conference South teams and not even the top half of that league. It's the only thing we had left this season , this really is a season to forget.
