After witnessing that first hand on Saturday and watching the highlights (especially the two Angels goals) Mark Halstead should never be allowed to play in goal for Torquay ever again. Hardly moved for the Angels opener and royally f**ked it up to gift Olutade their deserved winner.

Having watched the highlights I don’t thin blaming Halstead as most posters have done is very fair. Most of the problems to seem to involve outfield players not doing there job and a plucky performance by non league minnows.
Well shocking 1st goal Halstead should have been claiming that as it was on his 6yard box even a loud shout KEEPERS May have but the striker off or made him think a clattering was coming. Liked the comment made at 3 min 25 sec.
And as for 2nd goal well that should be the last time we see Halstead in a Torquay united Shirt that was poor.

May be rewatch the highlights, and watch Halstead just him then you will see.The deluder wrote: ↑21 Dec 2021, 14:20 Having watched the highlights I don’t thin blaming Halstead as most posters have done is very fair. When you are a Goalkeeper not playing games for weeks and months finds you out when you eventually get a game.
I am sorry but the winning goal was gifted by Halstead and there is no possible excuse and he knows it.

Its obvious that the majority on here have never played in goal.
Any mistake by a goalkeeper often results in a goal.
As opposed to a centre forward missing an open goal.
As an aside, we did miss a few one-on-ones on Saturday when it was still 1-1 and would have put the game to bed before their 2nd goal.
I feel bad for Mark, as its been said he's not any game time recently and training is never the same.

Of course we haven't... but the majority on here think that Halstead is a liability and he proved that on Saturday.SuperNickyWroe wrote: ↑21 Dec 2021, 17:40 Its obvious that the majority on here have never played in goal.

After watching the highlights you can't really defend Halstead , didn't look much wrong with their disallowed goal either.
Perhaps Lolos thought Halstead was coming for the first goal, there wasn't much in the way and Halstead should have dealt with it.
Did look a very lacklustre display though, any repeat of that and the turkey won't be the only thing stuffed this Christmas. Yeovil are bang in form and are always a very strong , physical team. Assuming it's on of course , if it's anything like last season anyone sniffs at Yeovil and half a dozen go down with Covid.

If they have 13 fit don’t they have to play?desperado wrote: ↑22 Dec 2021, 15:30 After watching the highlights you can't really defend Halstead , didn't look much wrong with their disallowed goal either.

Actually Ferguson won promotion on two occasions with St Mirren.dawlishmatt wrote: ↑22 Dec 2021, 19:28 Alex Ferguson was a crap manager, he managed Man Utd for 27 years and he never managed to win promotion.
