That was simply sensational.
We should be 8-0 up in this tie, but we are so much better than them it's frightening. Just hope for the same effort, quality and result up at their place.
Gavin Tomlin take a bow, outstanding performance deserved a goal or 3.

Would have bitten your hand off if I'd been offered 2-0 before the match, so can't complain.
But it leaves a slightly bitter taste that we were SO dominant, but are only 2 up. Leaves it all to play for second leg, so it could get tense.
Either way, massive congrats to all the players. Great first half, now finish the job

Thanks for the late link! Wish I had the money to go see us at Shrewsbury (big Cadfael fan) or OT, if we get there.
Never mind, maybe I'll be able to watch it on here or, maybe, even my local!
Cheers
Bruce

To be fair the pitch invasion was something of nothing. Tomlin and Robinson were able to be interviewed live on Sky with no-one in the background, and the players were able to stay on the pitch and applaud the fans after the game.
A few fans were on the pitch but it wasn't at a level that influenced anything. Well done to the stewards and fans.

With regards to running on the pitch - it was the last home game of the season - surely that is the time for everyone to come on the pitch and have a party?
I still have a Gillingham hat from when we all ran on the pitch together when we'd both been saved from relegation.
As long as all the players and officials are safe, I don't see a problem.
Also there was no announcement not to go on the pitch that I heard.

A great win for us. Fantastic to watch a Torquay game online again Should probably had a couple more goals, but I am certain we will score in the second leg aswell. Bring on Friday.

Regarding the pitch invasion - I think our official line should be that it was to celebrate the final game of the grandstand (hopefully)
Because it's rather embarrassing that people think it's because we think we've already won.

Plus, could low attendance be due to sky set up hammering down our attendance - taken part of the popside and by the side of the grandstand - removing standing areas can push capacity down more than you think, given that you can cram quite a few in a small area.
