Opi Edwards has joined Colchester on loan from Bristol City.....and I see Port Vale have signed another goalkeeper (from Ipswich). Covolan, on the bench after his suspension.

I think you’ll find that Opi is still at Forest Green and it is younger brother Owura that has joined Colchester on loan, having previously been on loan at Grecianland:-

Easy mistake to make when I read O. Edwards had gone to Colchester. I am glad you are on the ball, thanks for correcting my error.Griff1n wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 14:50 I think you’ll find that Opi is still at Forest Green and it is younger brother Owura that has joined Colchester on loan, having previously been on loan at Grecianland:-

Anyone remember a certain Kalvin Lumbombo Kalala?
Well, he was on the bench for Dartford yesterday for their match at Tonbridge.
He only came on for the last few minutes and I don't recall seeing him even touch the ball. Biggest 'boo' of the game was from me when his substitution was announced....got some strange looks from those around me!

Billy Waters has now scored 15 goals.
How many has Dan Holman scored?

I guess the question is, how the TUFC management rated BW- they didn’t want/couldn’t offer him a regular slot and the money he will have held out for. Or am I way out?
Waters wanted to move back up country to be closer to family. There was very little chance of getting him to stay.

A couple of ex-Gull loanees on the move.
Kieffer Moore has moved from Cardiff to Bournemouth and Aiden O'Brien has left Sunderland to join Portsmouth.
Two of our better loans.
Nathan Smith scored for Port Vale on Saturday.....and he was more than useful as well

Visited Oxford City on Saturday (to watch Oxford v Tonbridge). The Angels had their 'keeper sent off after 10 minutes and an Angels fan next to me went ballistic... screaming at the ref, arguing with a couple of Oxford 'supporters' next to him. He didn't stop for at least the next 10 mins. I had earache.
Little did the irate Angels fan know that he wasn't arguing with a 'supporter'... it was in fact Elliott Benyon (who now plies his trade for Oxford City) ...the other 'supporter' being non other than Danny Stevens. A photo opportunity for Junior and me which perplexed the irate Angels fan who couldn't work out what was going on.... 'hold on, you're supporting Tonbridge, yet you want a picture with some of their [Oxford's] supporters!'
Also, had to laugh as the irate Angels fan started shouting 'Homer' at the ref... cue 2 security guards coming over and asking him to tone down his homophobic language (or else he'd be asked to leave).... it took him a full 5 minutes to explain that he wasn't calling the ref a 'Homo'.
Anyways, Angels lost 5-0.

They must be well into their thirties now,
they both had their only successful times here so they must have good memories of Torquay . Bucks and Ling (Stevens) certainly got the best out of them. They did very well for us.
