Wright - came off his defenders well to link play with the midfield. Noticeable that our threat declined after his substitution.
Lapslie - he did a great sweeping up job in midfield, making up for some of the more wayward passing by his colleagues
CLE - made one and scored one in a very energetic performance
Moxey - apart from his goal which got us going he was dominant and cool in defence
Duke-McKenna - somewhat inconsistent, would do something great and then pass to the opposition but his skill is evident for all to see
Phil

Moxey he was up for this match and was a class act
CLE great game , he is not a false 9 but a great attacking midfielder
Weane/Mckenna, both a quality above us and they showed it.
Lapslie, the terrrier of the team.

What a joy it is writing this, it could be all eleven. So here goes. . .
Lapslie - covered everything inch of ground and having been booked in the opening minute had to time every tackle after. Could have been my man of the match.

McKenna - great feet and opened up the Aldershot defence time and time again. Just needs to stop turning inside around his own box.

Wright - open up space for others, always available to recieve the ball. Fingers crossed he has one more season in him.

Wearne - great feet, calm and composed. Enjoyed his day helping run the show, there will be tougher days ahead.

Evans - quite simply remains our true diamond. Quick, cleaver and linked up play nicely.

Special mention to the guys not making my five, today was not easy for all the right reasons. Don't you just love Ali Omar and his celebrations ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

Duke McKenna. This boy is a delight to watch. Great skill and deceptively quick. Proves you do not need to be a giant to be good at Footy.

Connor Lemonheigh- Evans. Always dangerous and deserved his goal. Great effort.

Tom Lapslie. He is extraordinary. He was born to play football. What a great signing.

Shaun MACDONALD. Clean sheet and MAC showed again how important he is to the team.

Dean Moxey. What a wonderful header for our first goal.Another great performance from our 36 year old veteran.

Every one played well including Ben Wynter who got a harsh yellow in the first minute.
