Torquay Utd v Dorking Wanderers - 09/11/22 7.45pm
FACR1 - Torquay Utd v Derby County Sun 06/11/22
The dorking game must be in doubt for Wednesday? Pitch was looking very heavy and cutting up on Sunday. More rain today and more forecast including a weather warning. Tbh don’t think it would be bad for us if it does get rearranged.

Maybe, but after tonight it doesn’t look to be too heavy. We could do with a week off but hopefully we can keep the momentum and pick up 3 points on Wednesday. I expect there will be 2/3 changes on Wednesday, that match took it out of the team! Wouldn’t be surprised to see Smith come in for one if Hall/Lapslie, and Crowe for Mox.

Admiral Smith can only play on Wednesday if 1 of the 5 Loanees who played yesterday is injured, dropped or rested.
Ness, Ellis, De Siva ,Wearne and Goodwin are unlikely to not play unless injured.

Pretty sure the game will go ahead with our improved drainage but wouldn't mind if it was off, Derby game must have taken its toll on the players and pitch (rather arrogant of Derby to think they could practice shooting in the main goal instead of the practice one) nice to rest the players and pitch and prepare for Chesterfield, but guess we do have momentum but the players must be really up for Dorking or we could come unstuck.

Met Office Forecast for tomorrow is very good.
Apart from a shower around lunchtime chance of rain is 5% with plenty of sunshine.
A bit breezy but we are used to that at Plainmoor.

Dorking last played on 29 October and have just signed two players. Joe Cook on loan from Chesterfield and Archie Procter from Accrington Stanley on a Permanent Transfer.
They are dangerous in attack with 30 goals the joint 6th best in the NL but have conceded 37 with only Barnet conceding more with 38.
I am going 4-2 to the Gulls. COYY

Looking forward to getting back to League action and the 3 points required. Can I say its winnable, with confidence gained from a fantastic
week. Things are looking a darn sight rosier with the experience defender we all wanted . The freedom and confidence this has given is
immeasurable. We look a completely different team and hopefully despite tired legs on a heavy pitch we can gain a valuable 3 points.

We have to be careful here, we really need a result! Saturday is a tough game against Chesterfield. Last week will be irrelevant if we lose both of these, but I’m confident we’ll get the job done tomorrow night.
Would love to be going tonight. Unfortunately due to the cost of living three games in one week rules me and my Boy out. Clubs are going to have to think carefully as two games a week is difficult these days let alone three. Can see it being a tight game tonight, let's hope the momentum keeps going. Up the Gulls!

Missed rye Derby game but the same desire and effort was there to see on the highlights. Against Aldershot you could see and hear that this high tempo pressing is very effective . The downside is that with a smallish squad most of the lads will have played 3 games in 9 days .
Still optimistic ….. 1-0 to us in a tight and scrappy game.

3 points all that matter tonight , don't care how we get them.
I see the Bromley game has been put back to the Wednesday 14th December.
because of the Sunday televised game v Oldham. Would have been better to play it the week before as 13th and 14th evenings are World Cup semi finals.
Gate would be affected especially if England are in it !

4th game in 11 days and hes got Hall and Lapslie in a two man midfield. Nonsensical team selection.
