Thought I'd get a matchday topic created for this one in a couple days time...

Taunton sit 17th in NLS who typically have been on a rich vein of form, despite their 1-0 loss to Dover on Tuesday they've been unbeaten in the 6 games prior.
Logically we should walk through them but Chippenham showed us that there are some decent teams below us.
Will most likely see some rotation which may see James Crole and potential new signing Nico Lawrence get a run out.

I think it will be very interesting to see who Gary starts with on Saturday.
One thing is surely certain he will play the 3 new loanees Aguiar, Crole and Lawrence.
Will it be Halstead or Lovett in goal?
With Bromley on Tuesday will he risk Hall, Moxey and Lapslie?
Will he play Jarvis and Crole up front with Aguiar just behind? I do hope De Silva starts.
Who is our best right back? Will he try Tomlinson so Donnellan can be more influential in the middle?
Will McGavin be fit to play?
The one certainty the pitch will be very soggy after yet another very wet week! COYY.

With more rain forecast overnight tomorrow and early Saturday going to cut up badly would have thought then they have to get it fit for Tuesday. Soul destroying weather for the groundstaff !

Careful you'll have that guy kicking off that it's "just a drop" of rain
Pitch was in an appalling state on the bench side - fair play to the ground staff for getting the Halifax game on
Pitch does seem to train away well so so decent dry weather from now till Saturday morning should hopefully mean any downpours before kick off drain quickly

This will be our Boxing day and new years day fixture next season.
17th hoping to stay up they are this season.
Mucky boggy pitch outnumbered by away fans.
Tomorrow will be surely an eye opener to you all.
1-3 is my prediction.
Maybe another stunning fight back from 0-2 for a draw and have us drooling what a team we are and are staying up, falls of sofa laughing.
Sad sad times.
They have better players than us, well in fact after watching a few South games everybody has.
Heads buried in sand.
Somebody says will Halstead play I hope he does otherwise it will be 6.
Enjoy following the game online everybody some of us will be there.

Be surprised if this goes ahead. Pitch was in a bad way against Halifax and more rain since then. Yellow warning for more rain overnight until 12.00 tomorrow
What's the point of fans(??) like you. Spare us all and just don't go. At least if we don't win you can parade how right you were. It must be great being next to you at the game......if you do go that is.somersetgull wrote: ↑13 Jan 2023, 13:44 An interesting game. With regards to next season.

Don't bet on it. Weston-super-Mare currently lead Southern League Premier South with Truro City in second.somersetgull wrote: ↑13 Jan 2023, 13:44 An interesting game. With regards to next season.

Truro who currently play in Plymouth may also be looking for another ground next season.

Is it extra time and penalties for the Taunton game?

I believe it's straight to penalties like it was against Chippenham
