Season over - time to live with it. It's not like we haven't been in the NLS before - bigger fish in a smaller pond.

We will struggle even if in a lower tier. This could bring about the end of TUFC.

We just have to keep going.
Tips
- Start Nouble
- Drop the same players who make the SAME mistakes every week
- Play the ball on the ground
- Press further up the field
- Mark players during set pieces
- Attack.
Any more?

Johnson got that wrong today
-Shouldn't have taken Evans when he did
-Should have taken Asa Hall off on 60mins
But individual errors again for both their goals
Marshall to blame for their winner, charged out of defence and left a huge gap for their striker
It's over for me, we are down

How an earth we have lost that game I don t know. The sooner the season finishes the better.
I agree he got the substitution wrong - the formation worked for me. There was no way I would have taken Evans off. We were in total control of the game at that stage. I wonder if Evans was injured.

Surprises me ! With this defeat its only just dawned on some its over!
I threw in the towel and excepted our fate after losing at dorking especially after leading for 5 minutes 2=1.
Sadly we cannot even get a win to prolong the hope!
Our current form is shocking no win in what 7?
We need to be careful we do not do a Weymouth!
Time for a change build for next year!

A lower level doesn't necessarily mean the end of world, it might even provide a chance for the club to start over and rebuild with some new faces in the changing room next season. Good to see the fans are not blaming the manager for our demise.

We had that chance five years ago and look whats happened, in the same bloody place again. And Johnson is to blame for this mess.MellowYellow wrote: ↑25 Mar 2023, 17:51 A lower level doesn't necessarily mean the end of world, it might even provide a chance for the club to start over and rebuild with some new faces in the changing room next season. The players simply aren’t good enough and the manager doesn’t have a clue tactically. If any of these two factors were the opposite we’d survive.Bristol_Gull wrote: ↑25 Mar 2023, 17:17 We just have to keep going.

I don't wish to be unduly pessimistic.
However, I consider it improbable that any points will be gleaned from the matches against Boreham Wood, Eastleigh, Chesterfield and Wrexham.
That would leave a maximum of 12 points available from the other four matches - an unlikely scenario admittedly - that would take the team to 43 points. Looking at the table, that total is unlikely to keep Torquay in this league.

That Dorking away game will go down as the pivotal moment in the relegation battle. Yes, the sending off was a key turning point, but we should have been so up for it that it wouldn't have mattered. I think the time has come for us to face reality and start thinking about our future as a football club in the NLS once again. If there was ever a club that could be defined as "so close" to success it would be our beloved club.
