Scunthorpe United v Torquay United, 3pm, Saturday 1st April, 2023
Hi all,
Wanted to get this out there early to gauge how many of the fantastic Yellow Army will be going to this game and what a fantastic day to be playing....
Fortunately, (some may disagree) the train strike is off
I suppose it will be dependant on how we get on tonight, but I am sure that there will be a few of us Northern Gulls there.
Win tonight (perish the thought) and it will be a great opportunity. Scunny are as bad at defending as us....
Hope to see you all there and safe travels as always.

A must win match for both teams - the proverbial six pointer if ever there was one. TUFC to start sharply, buoyed by tonight's fantastic away win, but ultimately points to be shared in a 1-1 draw. Stobbs with the Gulls' goal.

Do us a favour and disappear again off the Torquay forum with the constantly boring 1-1 predictions for another four or five years.....Ray Johnstone wrote: ↑28 Mar 2023, 22:02 A must win match for both teams - the proverbial six pointer if ever there was one. That's dedication for you
Been to Scunthorpe once but that was in 1974 ! at The Old Showground when the brilliant Mike Mahoney played a blinder in a 0-0 draw.

How is it at the game Somersetgull?somersetgull wrote: ↑01 Apr 2023, 16:00 No surprise here. Both look like relegation scrappers or hopefully mid table north and south teams next season.

According to the live vidiprinter on BBC One, TUFC have taken the lead following a goal from L Collins. Three points away at Scunthorpe will be a huge help to the Gulls’ chances of avoiding the drop from the Vanarama National League this season.

If there's no injury time we'll win

Great win! Back-to-back wins is huge for a relegation scrap. Just got to hope results go our way with Gateshead and Yeovil games in hand.

Great result, the second away win this week. Just disappointing that Dorking won at D&R.....but we can only keep on winning. Looking at York dropping and we play them in two weeks.
