Altincham have a huge say in what goes on in the last three games.
Obviously we need to win all three which isn't impossible so long as the players stay fit.
If Altrincham have a bad game against Dagenham their next game is against us, all going to plan and their final game is against Aldershot.
The implications of a final day Hollywood ending are getting closer and closer.

I hadn’t thought of that.
Altringham could still need to get something at Aldershot on the last day in which case Aldershot may not get the win that otherwise would be likely.

Yes, the Chesterfield game is the decider before Hollywood.
A Tuesday in the middle of the country each having played the same amount of games of recent will test the best of men.
Of course we are away, we don't mind that as the support surprises many.
I'd like to think the team will coast their way through to winning and bring a bit of sunshine for the opposition. Haha.
In between we have a tough game away to Altrincham.

50 pts will be the safety line, GD dependent.

Looking at these next 2 away games if we can pick up 4 points we will give ourselves a chance going into the Wrexham game. As much as I dislike Wrexham we would have much more of a chance if they wrap the title by winning the next 2 home games. A win on Tuesday would also finish off Yeovil.

I’m not confident 50 points will be quite enough, especially given our goal difference. Realistically Dorking are safe now, especially as they are home to Scunthorpe last game of the season so the final place is us, Aldershot, York, Maidenhead.

I think we may well need more than 50.
At least there are three teams that we can catch but York may well get points at Notts Co who will probably have nothing to play for. However likewise we can get something from Wrexham.
It won’t be all over if we lose at Chesterfield and getting just a point there wouldn’t be too bad.

What odds us needing old friends Cameron and Nemane to do us a favour on the final day?! Hard to see Notts playing a full strength side if Wrexham have secured the title and arguably would have even less to play for than Wrexham, with the need to avoid injuries ahead of the play offs.

Remaining fixtures:

— Tues 18th
Chesterfield (3rd) v TORQUAY
Wealdstone (12th) v ALDERSHOT

— Sat 22nd
Altrincham (15th) v TORQUAY
MAIDENHEAD v Barnet (5th)
YORK v ALDERSHOT

— Sat 29th
TORQUAY v Wrexham (1st)
Gateshead (16th) v MAIDENHEAD
Notts County (2nd) v YORK
ALDERSHOT v Altrincham (15th)

All of Aldershot’s games are ‘winnable’. York’s GD is far superior and we may need them to do us a favour against Aldershot depending on how Tuesday goes. For me it’s Maidenhead that look the most likely out of the teams we’re chasing.

If Aldershot lose on Tuesday night, the maximum one of Aldershot or York could obtain would be 52 pts.

Sadly, I still believe it is us for the drop. The run we are on has given us hope. The hope that kills you.

See you at Chesterfield, COYY.

The bookies still have us as odds on for the drop, but now it's 11/10 on.

They see Aldershot as by far the best candidate for us to catch at 11/4.

Maidenhead are 6/1.

Unfortunately you can see Aldershot beating wealdstone then York beating them on Saturday which would turn all eyes on Maidenhead

But this is a league you can never predict, but ours and Aldershots position will be a lot clearer post Tuesday

Not so sure Aldershot won't win now having seen Wealdstones current form
Bottom with 1 point out of the last 18
3 for 16 against. That late Aldershot winner yesterday was a killer.
Top three are Gateshead, Dorking and us ! all with 15 points from 6 games

Maidenhead might be worth a punt at those odds.
