Many of the teams across the breadth of table have a looked much of muchness with only a few exceptions, but the gulf in ability and tactics tonight has been significant.

Yes about time he achieved something in a truly crap season from him as an individual.

We are in this position thanks to our Walking footballer of the year and the other Marquee Losers :@

Aldershot have won. It's between us, Maidenhead and York but we would have to get something against Wrexham.

Staying up is still a possibility but it’s looking increasingly difficult.

Yeovil down.

Dorking and Gateshead now mathematically safe, with Aldershot almost clear.

Maidenhead and York are the ones to watch.

Can we overturn Altrincham and Wrexham?!

If we go down on goal difference level on points with Maidenhead then this loss will be even more significant.

The table dont lie.......we have lost to this lot 5-1 in both games.

We are where we are because of crap recruitment, and not getting a decent team together until Game 38.
We should not be in this position, but losing far too many games at home in the dieing minutes.....lack of concentration , switching off, fitness ect will all be disected on another day. I repeat we should not be in this position, but we have not been good enough and we are approaching game 45 !!!!

Had a bad feeling about this one and was glad i choose to continue with some plans which i couldnt listen or watch!

Hindsight is that it probably wasn't the best week to slotted this game in on the re-arrangement

All we can do is re-group and show some of the spirit and quality thats got us the previous 5 on the bounce wins, hope the results go our way Saturday and take it to the final game

Really disappointing tonight being there as one of the 144.
Never got going they were quick out of the blocks and never gave us a minute.
Said after 5 mins that Tom shouldn't be on, but I suppose with no Asa - who make a difference - it was a card worth playing.....
The three goals - well the first a cruel deflected block by Mox which looped over MH, the second against the bar and dropped right to their player and their third was a worldie that Ronaldo would have been proud of.
After Tom went off, Daws couldn't do it on his own and it went from bad to worse....
Ali came on and did his best Nico & Donny were being pulled from pillar to post and Mox did some amazing covering across the back line.
First attack 2nd half and they score - did worry how many it would be, but tbf, they dug in (were still missing in Midfield) and got a goal.
The lino on our side was absolutely shocking - he was miles behind play in the 1st half with their players clearly offside....
But managed to put his flag up every time in the 2nd half even when our players were clearly onside. :@
So, onto Alty. We need to win, simple as that.
PS - For those on the Yellow Army & Yorkshire Gulls FB Pages, Baby Harlan isn't happy tonight. :@

Absolutely gutted after last night. Chesterfield ruthlessly ripped us apart from start to finish and could easily have had double figures.

Cruel deflection for their opener, but after that it was men against boys.

Kept flicking over to the Wealdstone game but found that equally as depressing - Wealdstone didn't look interested at all and from the bits I saw couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo even if the banjo was glued to it's friggin' arse.

Its the hope that kills you every time, we had started believing after 5 wins that this squad could actually pull it off,we had started to forget the previous 38 games of dross that we have encountered this season.Last night, and I have now watched it twice we were torn apart from minute one, they had a superior game plan and executed it superbly. Without heroics from halstead that was a 10-1 in the making. We had no answers and more inportantly no ability to do anything about it,for long periods the team were spectators at their own match, how lapslie could allegedly have had a fitness test in the morning and be so patently injured 12 hours later shows where and what we are, we had to play him because there was no alternative.
Last nights loss was not so much about being beaten by a better team although they were miles ahead of us in terms of quality but a total reflection of a very poor season by an average team. Full credit to the travelling fansyou were noisy, the club not only should be paying your entrance money but also your travelling expenses.

Gutted also that has come to this.
However never expected anything from Wealdstone with Dickhead Andrew’s in their side. Another Marquee waste of time signing who we can thank for his non contribution into OUR famous clubs demise . 🤬

Apparently the team bus arrived at the ground at 6.20pm last night.

How pathetic is that for such an important game - absolutely no point in bleating about Wealdstone. Didnt they beat us down here with Dickhead Andrews in the side? thats why we are going down - losing to a shower of pub teams all season and being run in such an amateur fashion.

Turning up an hour before kick off - it beggars belief - unforgivable.

Yes it was a cruel deflection, but Halstead was beaten over his head near the goal line. Same thing happened for the second goal. Mind you he did save about half a doxen after that.

Before they scored they must have had 10 or so free headers in the box.
