Dillon De Silva
I just heard Dillon is returning to Plainmoor.
Confirmed on Twitter, permanent deal. Good signing for this league, he’ll tear a few defenders a new one.

Genuinely good signing. Had his critics but I thought he was a good player for us and surprised he has dropped down this far, we must be paying him a decent wedge.

On the Ex Gull Watch post it was reported on 24 July that De Silva was on trial at Hartlpool United after his release by QPR.
He clearly prefers the Sunny South!

He was ok, not helped by our great manager playing him at wing back though. Happy enough with that signing.

Thank gawd for that bruces blessing!!
Massive..in this league he will thrive. From 60/40 going straight back up I’m now 80/20.

Very good signing. Just please, don’t play him at wing back.

was never convinced by him in NL - very good pace and decent trickery but too often his final ball was lacking.
with that said - I always felt he'd be a better impact player coming off the bench and going at tired defenders. Didn't really get a chance to do that last season because for 70% of the season, the squad was so thin. This season, a division down, with a stronger squad, he could be a very effective option. I would be a tad disappointed if he ended up starting 35 games this season, though.
I wonder if he'll start this weekend since Stobbs picked up some sort of hamstring issue the other day.

This is really good news, I was impressed with him last season and remember one goal in particular when he cut in from the right and completely lost his marker with a lovely feint to open up the space for the shot.

Good signing, will be a threat to NLS defences. Needs to cross better, but excellent dribbler and scores goals. Plus more cover in forward line. Don't play at wing back !
Lots of people saying don't play him at wing back, the guys got to learn how to defend too !
Too much of a luxury if he can't, another way Gary Johnson improves players !
