I dread to think what sort of a team we can put out if some of these injuries don't clear up. Hoping they do, and we see a reaction.

I cannot see us getting anyhting out of this game, but what do I know, if Chippenham had someone watching us saturday they will know to have a big centre half to negate Jarvis and put two wingers out , with our defence we might as well dig a verydeep trench on the edge on the box and hope for thick fog. 1-3 if we are really licky.

We need a huge response after that awful showing on Saturday. I'd like up 4-5-1:

----------Halstead-------

Craske Tomlinson Hall Martin

------Lapslie Donnelan WJD----

Stobbs-----------------Collins

-------Jarvis-------

We could despaterely do with a new CB and new CM. I'm putting Hall as makeshift CB and hoping Laps will be back. Otherwise, we have to start Hanson instead. McGavin not in the squad for me.

Prediction: TUFC 1-0 Chippenham

Bring Crowe and Marshall back in.

Crowe deserves a chance and Marshall is bigger and stronger than Tomlinson. That line up you put up is atrocious and will see us getting beaten again.

I'd go Crowe-Marshall-Donellan- Martin

Stobbs-Lapslie-Hall-De Silva

Collins-Jarvis

To me that team looks a little stronger

If you look at the Prediction League table you'll see that hardly any of us have a clue about this football malarky... a bit like the players I guess.

I'd love it to be a cricket score and get our season up and running... but after the dross we've served up so far (bar the first 20 mins at Crabble) I cannot see us get anything out of this (again)...

but, sod it... let's go for 3-0 to United.

I would be more radical in a team shake-up and there would be a sacrificial lamb namely Arron Jarvis. Purely on the basis that we must stop playing hoof-ball and without a target man we would have no option other than to play ball to feet. To be even more controversial I would provide McGavin his last opportunity to prove a point by playing him as a deep lying playmaker where hopefully his technique and passing will control the flow of the team's play. Let's face facts if we want to play possession football we have to have that role in the team. I would then have Lapslie and Donnellan as the two ball-winning midfielders (Donnellan over Hall because of pace).

I would set up as a 3-5-2 (shock and horror!)

Halstead
Crowe Marshall Martin
Stobbs Lapslie McGavin Donnellan De Silva
Collins -Ash

That's right - I said it!
Can this team do any worst than the dross served up on Sat.
