Torquay 2-1 Tonbridge
3-1 win for Torquay.
Well Tuesday nights 4.1 win certainly has given us all new found optimism, to score 2 goals from long range in a game is rare, to score all 4 from long range virtually unheard of , that was a much needed and welcomed win.
On todays opponents Tonbridge Angels are going to be a much more stern test, these opponents aren't going to roll over quite so easily, todays game match's up one of the best home records v one of the best away records in the division, what if anything will give in this game.
Current league form shows;
Torquay WLWLW
Tonbridge WDWWD
Whilst TUFC have won 4 out of the last 5 home games, it's important to note Tonbridge have won 3 and drawn 1 of their last 5 away games, and come into this match on a run of 3 consecutive away wins, are Tonbridge to be feared (no) respected (yes) One thing is for certain no one around TQ1 should be underestimating Tonbridge who proven themselves to be decent side at this level.
Don't think it matters whether you'd seen Dolan play in the flesh, livestream, or radio reports, think we all came to realise pretty quickly he had something just little bit extra special for the NLS, and was the one player who could effect the game in a positive way for us, his loss is a real body blow,
Always predict with my head, our hearts would give us 46 wins as said before, this one for me is too close to call, really could go either way, with Dolan I'd really fancy us, with out, we'll need a fast start, getting the crowd on side, who for many have a broken relationship with GJ, after telling some of our most loyal fans at Dartford, they were the wrong type of fans, the atmosphere will turn pretty toxic if there isn't a fast start.
This always hurts.
