Another new club for Elliot Romain, he’s now playing for Horsham in the Isthmian League:-

Glad to see Jamie Reid still hasn't "found his level". When I think of the stick he got for years being shoved out on the left wing, and the amount of bitter people who still claimed he was overrated when doing well for us, it makes me wonder how many people just love to hate us!
Good also to see the much maligned Rob Street playing regular League One football with Cheltenham (previously Shrewsbury) in an ex Torquay twin striker attack with Will Goodwin.

Madgull - yes I was checking this morning and saw that Jamie scored the winner against Lincoln on Saturday and he is far and away their top scorer with 11 goals so far. Well done Jamie and all delighted for you I'm sure.

Stephen Wearne scored both goals for Gateshead in their 2-0 win at Barnet. Ben Wynter seems to be missing from the Barnet squad these days:-

Wayne Carlisle on the touchline as Interim Manager of Rotherham, after the sacking of his mate Matt Taylor. Could we tap him up for a loan or two?

Ryan Bowman scored a hat trick for Shrewsbury in their FA Cup tie away at Notts County on Friday evening.
All three goals were the result of Torquayesk defending, with the home side gifting every goal with comical mistakes.

Lewis, Bass, Lemonheigh-Evans and Little all playing for Wimbledon on the telly tonight v. Ramsgate in the FA Cup. Evans looks a class act, as does Little.

I remember plenty of people slating Little on here. He and CLE have looked quality in that Wombles team.

The difference now is they are playing with better players around them. The lad that got the two goals and the guy that could not score and got subbed were superior to those at Plainmoor in their time here.Southampton Gull wrote: ↑04 Dec 2023, 21:26 I remember plenty of people slating Little on here. They both had obvious quality to me, a few others too. Too many of our fans are prone to dismissing the obvious talent of players if they don't hit the ground running. We've had plenty of good teams over the years but that's always been a common theme.North Curry House wrote: ↑05 Dec 2023, 13:54 The difference now is they are playing with better players around them.
