Hereford v Torquay United 3pm 13th January 2024 FATrophy
Signed a player who “looked fit yesterday” playing in the lower leagues. Had a serious injury previously. We won’t be seeing him again. To say Dawson is the answer to our prayers. The guy hasn’t run in 8 months!! He’s done as is Hall.
We are a laughing stock. Dartford sacked their manager because results weren’t good enough. Kidderminster sacked their manager and bought in Phil brown.
Why are we the experiment, why is this club failing throughout.

One of the worst performances I’ve ever seen in over 45 years. Plan A was shocking and no plan B. The fans have turned to a man. Johnson out is now a must.

The first half of Truro was enough to send me back into hiding. Excellent support in the trophy given the state of the club.Forest gull wrote: ↑13 Jan 2024, 19:25 One of the worst performances I’ve ever seen in over 45 years. Plan A was shocking and no plan B. Lost track this season of the times I have thought well glad that's over we cannot play that bad again, then we go and do it again but even worse. we started with a centre forward and that lasted 3 minutes, after that it went down hill, the single game plan of high ball up to our a 6 foot 4 centre forward continued long after he had showered and was back towards the M5 never to be seen again. in fact it was the second half until johnson changed anything, actually judging by the interaction all through the game it was downes doing the talking and changing things around, Johnson was stood on his own by some yards just waving his arms up and down. Marshall god bless him was turned in side out by first their winger then their centre forward then, well anyone in a hereford shirt who fancied a laugh.we put him out of his misery second half and played him up front where he could not do any damage, it seemed the first half hereford were playing on the grass surface that is edgar street and we were still on astra turf, we couldnt get the right pace on any pass. No one in a torquay shirt came out with credit today.
Two things that nullified a depressing long drive home, hereford is a very nice town and worth a visit and the match did not cost us any points.

And there are still some that think this Management is acceptable. His time is well and truly up.Forest gull wrote: ↑13 Jan 2024, 19:25 One of the worst performances I’ve ever seen in over 45 years. Plan A was shocking and no plan B. The fans have turned to a man. Johnson out is now a must.
Give it to Downes to try and improve this totally shite embarrassing season. At least he will face the supporters and not shy off down the tunnel .

Yes Plainmoor can not be sold for housing. It will only be used by the council to develop the school.Dave_Pougher wrote: ↑13 Jan 2024, 16:25 To oversee the demise of a once proud club, he is now very much complicit in the organised dismantling of TUFC to enable a club to be dissolved to enable profiteering leeches to get their grubby hands on real estate.
Anyone have evidence to the contrary Id be very glad to have it.
Yes Plainmoor is valueless to any property developer...
Ok.
The council own the land not TUFC.
I'd sold TUFC and the owners make nothing.
Surely you get this??

Spires get Plaibmoor, Osborne gets Quinta playing fields to develop with sea views…TorquayUnited wrote: ↑13 Jan 2024, 21:22 Yes Plainmoor can not be sold for housing. It will only be used by the council to develop the school.

Downes certainly isn’t the answer as a replacement
He is equally liable for this mess, he would have recommended Duane they played in the same team so if that’s anything to go buy we are screwed with him.

What was Gary’s comment? We are sorry for that performance and we can do something about it, when we can???!!!
If we aren’t good enough in terms of quality, then try to install some resilience and belief! Desire can win games!
I’m not a GJ lover or a GJ out person, but enough surely? Someone else’s voice in the dressing room?
We’ve said on here that it shouldn’t be ex-players, but let’s get real, we are at L6 NLS, it’s where the next generation managers start! Hall and Moxey, have played at this level and understand it, they’ve played higher and have respect and contacts in the game! May be it’s their time!

You could also say that it "goes quiet" from the other side when we win....WainwrightGull wrote: ↑14 Jan 2024, 10:09 Don’t panic Mr Manwearing they will be out in force when we turn over the Mighty Dover 1-0.
In the meantime it’s all gone mighty quiet over there.

I disagree as after some of the lucky wins and we all know there have been many fortunate ones. There is always something to mull over with this bunch of losers.SuperNickyWroe wrote: ↑14 Jan 2024, 11:29 You could also say that it "goes quiet" from the other side when we win....
