They are on a good run, we are really short of confidence so I will go 2-1 Braintree.
Unfortunately, can’t see us getting anything again, making it 1 win in 12.

Lose this one and creeping in to the playoffs will look ever more distant. Jarvis is apparently fit to start, but the injury list is still quite long. 1-0 to the gulls.

Excellent offal joke there United62. The spirit of Les Dawson is alive and well.
I think Braintree 2-1 Torquay.

Braintree win 2:0…..we will be 5pts behind them and they win their game in hand…8 pts behind. Is this the week where our season ends?

We’re not going down. We’ve got virtually enough points to stay up already - and still have to play Taunton twice where we’ll surely get some points.Minneapolisgull wrote: ↑16 Feb 2024, 14:23 Survival In this league is the priority!

But more to the point, lose tomorrow and we’ll be between 5 and 8 points off the play offs (more likely 8), having played a game more.
So defers tomorrow and the season is virtually over - bar the protests.

Let's be brutally honest - tomorrow's result is to all intense and purposes an irrelevance.
The club, unfortunately, is on a vertical downward spiral with an owner who is to football what Hamas is to liberal democracy and a manager who couldn't select a pick and mix let alone a winning football team.
It pains me to make these comments as I've always had a soft spot for Torquay despite living some 100 miles to the west.
I feel incredibly sorry for those who spend hard-earned money following the Gulls, only to be treated abysmally by the management structure.
I would respectfully suggest that lessons could be learnt from Exeter City, while conceding that they had a major stroke of luck with the income from their cup ties with Manchester United. However, from a distance, they do appear to be well run.
