Good post. Can’t see why some are predicting a clean sheet, but we can hope. Probably our only way of getting a point.standupsitdown wrote: ↑16 Feb 2024, 20:49 We’re not going down. We’ve got virtually enough points to stay up already - and still have to play Taunton twice where we’ll surely get some points.
But more to the point, lose tomorrow and we’ll be between 5 and 8 points off the play offs (more likely 8), having played a game more.
So defers tomorrow and the season is virtually over - bar the protests.

Ryan Hanson has gone to Tonbridge Angels.
Life is like TUFC. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory.
Pretty much everything has been said about current form, although Braintree's recent run of good results has largely against teams you'd expect them to do well against, however they did beat Hampton 3 v1 and have picked up an away draw Maidstone, not since their Christmas double header v Chelmsford have Braintree suffered any defeats.
This match could depend on who is upfront, D.O.A with Jarvis could work well, however if D.O.A is a makeweight for Jarvis can see that having a negative effect all round, we know our defence awful, and hardly a surprise Halstead has lost confidence, think any keeper would lose the will trying to organise this lot.

I just don't think it really ever worked out for Ryan Hanson, good luck to him with his new club, from time to time you could see he was half decent, but he suffered with form and being a utility player doesn't help, esp in a losing team/relegation....as for today, I'd be surprised if Jarvis starts, I doubt hes match fit and up to speed with things..

I would love to watch it but it’s not a selected game for streaming thru the National League….how far we have fallen. Amazing….Maybe I’ll watch Wealdstone….. Talk about a miraculous success. Wandering nomads for years and now a good team a tier above us. Lesson from them. It can be done if you have the will

I think that is a tad unkind, had a good pedigree before us ,came as a midfielder, johnson played him at centre half and right back, I believe this is another play who will go onto to better things under a decent coach.WainwrightGull wrote: ↑17 Feb 2024, 12:10 Good riddance another one of the ‘Marquees’
Gone..how many left now ?
