Braintree v Torquay Sat 17th Feb 2024
It's an absolute farce. We don't deserve anything from the game, we are so poor. What will this be, one win in eleven? An absolutely rotten set up both on and off the field.

All about opinions but as was mentioned on his cv he has 2x relegations from the NL struggled here this season , can honestly say I never see him have a decent game.culmstockgull wrote: ↑17 Feb 2024, 14:41 I think that is a tad unkind, had a good pedigree before us ,came as a midfielder, johnson played him at centre half and right back, I believe this is another play who will go onto to better things under a decent coach.
Out of his depth, too soft and injury prone or was it the fact he did not want to be here ala Corrie Andrew’s
It’s gotten to the point, just like for a large part of last season, where it’s just painful knowing every week you’re going to lose & honestly not seeing any light at end of the tunnel.

Quite frankly this is worse than when Owers was in charge. At least we had some decent quality players then.
Either Johnson needs to resign or he has to be sent on his way.
I don’t understand the stubborn attitude on either side.
I’d understand if GJ was fired up and driving performances but his body language and interviews show he’s totally demoralised

I simply do not understand what he has to do to get sacked. I can’t think of any other manager at any other level who gets relegated and then follows that up by failing miserably the next season too. It’s un bloody believable!

Johnson keeps on saying he will leave when he loses faith, how can any manager have any faith in this squad

“If Braintree went down to 9, or even 8, even then I don’t think Torquay would trouble them” Radio Devon

Comparatively to the rest of the National League South, the squad isn’t technically that bad.TheYellowFromExeter wrote: ↑17 Feb 2024, 16:52 Johnson keeps on saying he will leave when he loses faith, how can any manager have any faith in this squad
It’s the complete lack of game plan and substandard management that makes it atrocious

Game after game, week after week, month after month, failure after failure. Not since the dire days of Dave W*** have I felt so despondent. The managers signings, the managers picks, the managers tactics, the managers organisation. This is killing the club.
What hold does Johnson have over the ownership?
Is it just money?
Does he have compromising photographs?
Are they lovers?
Can anybody explain why Gary Johnson still here?
Please please please go. I seriously think almost anyone would be an improvement.

He is the perfect distraction from the real devil and can be sacked at an opportune moment to buy just a little more time until the stadium deal is complete.LikeaPatOutaHele wrote: ↑17 Feb 2024, 17:03 Game after game, week after week, month after month, failure after failure.
