Osborne saved the club for his own interests, not for anyone else. Good riddance.
Be interesting where this all leads. Fans of other clubs have drummed out owners with lots of money and almost without exception, those clubs have dropped like stones or disappeared altogether.

Osborne saved the club from oblivion when nobody else was remotely interested in investing. He's thrown away well over 5 million quid and got nothing but abuse for his money. The council wouldn't even engage with him on where the future is going.
He didn't go to games, was the biggest moan. Well neither does the owner of Man City, or Spurs, or Arsenal etc etc. It means nothing.
Osborne has been driven out, be careful what you wish for guys. His only mistake was not getting rid of Johnson two summers ago.

You really are clueless. A couple have disappeared but almost all have made their way back or are in the process of doing so. If you were really a football fan instead of someones legal attack dog you would know that.

Pretty sure we have been dropping like a stone already in the last few years and disappearing altogether was his objective

But other clubs have thrived and gone from strength to strength with new owners George, who knows. Only time will tell.

Get real.

You really think Osbourne, a business man, is going to accept a £5 million loss and just walk away? How deluded are you?

Whoever (if anyone does) takes us on, they will have to pay a substantial amount of that £5 million loan back to Osbourne.

Depends upon how much money has been written off by way of tax deduction perhaps? Sure as hell Osborne is a shifty character so anything could happen!

Of course they will.....not!!! You really think someone is going to pay 5 million to repay Osborne and then take on all the debts and find the bond money for the league and find cash flow money?
Just let it go into admin.....debts cleared, apart from HMIC, pick it up for a song.

It's been sold for £1 before. Precedent set.............

We could save £20k a week if Hayman walked, because her stewardship has cost that amount to various owners over the years. My accountants were great at saving me money when the time came for their input.

Another loved up Osborne post....
The owners of the clubs you mention do actually attend.....
The council told him several times the freehold wasn't for sale.....
He threw away £5m gambling on the council selling him the freehold...
Then, he decided to ditch the club and take his ball home as he didn't get what he wanted....

Wouldn’t put it past him trying to leave whatever he doesn’t get as a charge against the Club in early stages of negotiations with a buyer. Osborne isn’t gone yet, sadly. I hope his influence goes and soon. Still the owner for now and as administration has not been announced, as it must be when entered, he still calls the relevant shots with club funds and Edwards is still here with his primary interests those of his long time ‘employer’.

Anyone able to enlighten me on who this is? They were an active director in Riviera Stadium Limited for a while and only resigned in December 2020.

PHATHANACHAROEN, Kawisara

Correspondence address
6 Beaconsfield Road, Clifton, Bristol, United Kingdom, BS8 2TS
Role RESIGNED
Director
Date of birth
December 1977
Appointed on
17 November 2020
Resigned on
1 December 2023

Another name that pops up frequently with Osborne is Christopher Lewis, another with some shady looking investments/losses.
