Do we know where our game with Truro will be played?

Taunton, Gloucester or even at our place?

Taunton v WSM game off tonight. Maybe their fixture pile up will help us??????????

I also see that Plymouth parkway who were hosting Truro are now playing their home games at Yate town. North of Bristol.

Just got an email from Taunton to say our game moved from 17th to 16th April.
So yet another change of hotel booking. At least I booked fully flexible this time.

Not sure what happens if it rains that week and any of the games are off.

Read elsewhere that after this weekend they are Sat/Tue/Thu/Sat for the rest of the season. One more postponement and they will be looking at matches on consecutive days.

Taunton v Maidstone tonight. Pitch failed a morning inspection.
The league have ordered them to play it at Gloucester this evening.

Cinderford now also playing home fixtures at Gloucester as well. Must be quite lucrative having a plastic pitch?

Just reading about Gloucester Citys pitch
The top layer is actually grass though they call it 3G, huge strips of 15mm thick turf have been laid on 35mm of sand and rubber crumb with a shock pad layer underneath and it drains superbly. No idea what it cost , they say it's international standard but sounds a great compromise. Good idea for us. Get the council to pay for it and rent it out and give them a percentage of the takings ( if they insist !)

Is this what they call a hybrid pitch?

I never thought I'd say it, but with the wetter winters and no other pitches in the south west I think it may be the way to go for us. Anything that can generate new income needs looking at.

Just wondering if I got that right , they call the top layer grass or strips of turf in the write ups
but perhaps they mean artificial grass

It's artificial grass and would not pass the EFL test. Great for additional income, but no use for Football League application.
