The new away kit does present a new look at an old question: what is the relationship between beauty and monstrosity?

Yes, excellent philosophical point. It's a tale as old as time.

I think Gabrielle-Suzanne de Villeneuve did an excellent job in her novel, La Belle et la Bête, of summarising the contrast of the two, whilst highlighting their very commonalities in an exquisite juxtaposition.

We shall have to see how it looks when the players run out at 255pm....

Like it or loathe it at least it can be said that the new owners are involving the fans in choosing an away strip, something Osborne would never have considered.

A blue collar would work.

Agree, match the collar to the colour of the hoops it wouldn’t be the worst. Blue shorts and yellow socks would work.

As a football shirt I can live with it but with fans having to fork out some serious cash to buy the football shirt it's ought to be important for commercial sales that the shirts have some street cred and fashion statement. The away kit design is at least urban and leveraged to promote a more purposeful cause of drawing attention to the Torbay Riviera.

REV comps is based in Devon, is it connected to one of the consortium members?

Ghastly, if true. It looks like an American prison tunic.

Oh Brother Where Art Thou (anybody know the Torquay connection to this film?)

I like it. Is there a thin white line within the yellow bands, would be a nice addition.

We've played in a similar kit before though the blue was slightly darker , in O'Riordans days
