I bet Cheltenham fans are relishing the thought of back-to-back relegations.

Aaron Downes is apparently going to be their assistant manager and they are signing at least one player from Torquay.

Jarvis is the man linked. Wouldn’t surprise me if it was Archer though.

I'd be happy to start totally afresh and couldn't care less where last seasons squad end up. Good luck to all of them but time for fresh ideas and new players to get behind.

I totally agree with Southampton. Who cares where any of last seasons squad ends up, they weren't good enough. I'm not sure I would keep anyone (possibly Jarvis but that wouldn't happen anyway). A fresh approach is certainly needed.

I think it could be a difficult first season as we have a new manager and a new team to assemble in a short space of time. I'm giving them plenty of free rein this season. I will be giving the whole of the club my support whatever happens. Just happy we have a new start with decent people in charge. And we are moving in the right direction.

Good luck to Cheltenham but I'm happy with our new direction.

According to Gloucester Live, Jarvis will be Gary Johnson’s first signing, and Michael Flynn to be announced as head coach this week -:

I look forward to reaching round one of the FA Cup and getting drawn with Cheltenham, then beating them.
