I have to be honest and say a defence of Craske, Booth and Foulston terrifies me.

Be pretty difficult to be worse than last year, didnt we concede the third highest amount of goals.

It's the first 3 players in a squad of at least 18. Booth I think will be used as a defensive midfield rather than a full-on defender. Craske is fine, as long as he can stay fit (he was excellent in the pre season friendly vs Plymouth) and Foulston was a first choice player for the team that won the division last season.

Of course it could end up being the case that we have a mid table squad, and honestly, that's ok given where we were 3 months ago. But jeez, let's wait till we have, I dunno, enough players to fill out a team sheet before reaching for the panic button, eh?

We were defensively more frail with him in the side. That said, NLS is about his standard, and there are plenty worse defenders than him I saw last season

We saw quite a few at Plainmoor....
Also, when Buckle became manager, we didn't have a team - never mind a squad either.
And yes, I know Bucks budget was higher, but all the same he picked players and brought them in - turned out alright....
I'm sure that PW will do the same, plus he has NW's help too.

Surprised Archer has gone , thought he was worth a punt.
14 gone so quite a clear out, imagine Moxey,
Tomlinson and Ash will accept terms
Thought Thomas was worth a contract too but Wotton, Edwards and Warnock know better than me !

Major clear out, I hope ash and moxey stays, Tomlinson being offered a contract is beyond me, either wootton hasnt seen him play or tomlinson is playing for peanuts, he has a big squad to assemble, at least 15 , and then getting them to gell within 8 weeks is a big ask.

Surprised to see both goalkeepers released, thought Lovett may be offered something, even as number 2 again this season. I'm sure that PW and NW have all in hand though.

Refreshing to see that the major clear out being called for by many has happened.

Like many of the others, Archer has probably had his head turned in the close season with something closer to home.

Shame about Laps, hopefully one we can revisit when he’s fit again.

Like others, I’m disappointed that there appears to have been no offer to Ethon Archer.

Looking forward to further player announcements.

Needed a clear out for the culture more than anything else. Not disapointed in the list, but like others,I liked Archer having seen his debut at Havant. He will come good somewhere and seem to recall he had a very good game v Truro / Wotton when he came on for big Duane and his attempt to scupper our hopes by trying to get sent off within 15 mins of the game starting.

Welcome Oscar!

Sad to see some of those who have left the club, especially Asa Hall. It is probably the right decision but he was a brilliant captain and player for this club
