They averaged 3500 at home last year which is a third of that of Notts County....

It's an odd league; Rangers and Celtic are equivalent to mid table Championship teams. The rest are league one, league two sides.
Notts County are no doubt a bigger club than St Johnstone, but it's a good time for him to make a move. Things soured at county for him, and it's a loan so the door is always open.
And in any case, of course he's going to be talking up the move and being positive about it. It's the right approach even if he was going back to non League English football.

Saikou Janneh played 45 minutes for Cheltenham ( obviously) last night.
Not thought to be in line for a contract.

Could still end up at Torquay....if he does not get picked up elsewhere. Obviously believes he is better than he actually is.

Unfortunately so far his level has been shown to be no better than NL at best. He's talented, of course, but other than the season in NLS with us it's arguable he has done very little.
Think he's be worth a punt if we could get away without paying him very much.

Not a player, but good news is that in a shock move Cheltenham have appointed Pete Johnson as their chief scout.
